| Ms. Bruton-Maree received a diploma from North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia, a bachelor's degree from Guilford College, and a master's degree in science from Wake Forest University-Bowman Gray School of Medicine. She serves on the North Carolina Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Coalition, has chaired numerous NCANA committees and served as NCANA Secretary, President-Elect, and President. Ms. Bruton-Maree has also served as a member on numerous AANA committees, as educator and chairperson of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, and chaired the Education Committee. She served as AANA Director, Region 2, AANA Vice-President, AANA President-Elect, and AANA President. Ms. Bruton-Maree is currently Program Director and Visiting Assistant Professor of Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia/University of North Carolina at Greensboro. |

| Sheila
C. Crumb, CRNA, MSN, is a graduate of the University of North
Carolina in Wilmington, NC, with a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing
at the Carolinas Medical Center/University of NC at Charlotte
Nurse Anesthesia Program. Sheila is a staff CRNA at
Lexington Memorial Hospital and an adjunct faculty member
for Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia
Program. Sheila serves on numerous NCANA committees, and
was the District II Director in 2002-2004. |

Packer Hospital School of Nursing and her Certificate in
Nurse Anesthesia from Wilkes-Barre Hospital School of Nurse
Anesthesia in Pennsylvania. “Sang” as she
is known to her friends, is the Chief Nurse Anesthetist,
Inpatient Operating Room at Baptist Hospital, Wake Forest
University, Winston-Salem, NC. She has served
on numerous committees within NCANA and was a member of the
2002 Task Force on Office Based Anesthesia. |
