Get Involved: The NCANA Grassroots Network

As a certified registered nurse anesthetist and NCANA member, you have an opportunity to help modernize CRNA practice in our state. The 2017 Legislative Session of the North Carolina General Assembly convenes on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017, and will examine nursing regulation for the first time in many years.

State legislators and other key influencers need to know the importance of utilizing nurse anesthetists to the fullest extent of their education and training. We’re asking NCANA members from all 100 North Carolina counties to get involved in the NCANA Grassroots Network by:

• Serving as a legislative contact in your district
• Sharing your CRNA story
• Making a donation to the NCANA Political Action Committee (PAC) 

We’re not asking you to do anything right now other than provide your name and best phone number/email address. NCANA representatives will then contact you to discuss opportunities for your involvement at any level you wish and provide you with the necessary tools to do so. You will never be alone in your efforts.
